India, China to patrol ‘coordinatedly’
• India and China plan to conduct “coordinated patrolling” in Depsang and Demchok along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh.
• Disengagement is expected to be completed by October 29.
• Chinese patrols will be allowed in Yangste, Arunachal Pradesh, as before.
• The agreement was concluded at the diplomatic level and at the Corps Commander level.
• The current agreement pertains only to Depsang and Demchok, the two remaining friction points.
