    K-Rail Project Conditional Green Signal

    • The project is being reviewed and a similar agreement with the Maharashtra government will be sent to the Kerala government.
    • The announcement comes as the Railways are exploring a new railway line from Chengannur to Pamba.
    • The estimated cost of the project is ₹3,726.95 crore.
    • The Railway Board is expected to send a letter to Kerala seeking clarifications on environmental and technical issues.
