• The Indian parties met to discuss their stand on the joint session, with 15 leaders signing a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

• Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju dismissed the Opposition’s claim, stating the government had made arrangements for the Leaders of Opposition to sit on the dais.
