followed a schedule of daily study mostly..followed the schedule diligently...study period depended on the schedule for the day..sometimes 3 hours only..sometimes 18

in our times there was no net or google..wish it was there..`d have been of much help then..had to scout for books on many topics in the syllabus

selection of books depend on individual students....for beginners..mcgrawhill & oriental for prelims along with ncert books and a regular practise of mcq maths/IQ and englisg would suffice'

its a myth that this exam could only be cracked by super duper IQs. Its for average students with a strategic bent of mind...ppl with staminand grit..and for those who are prepared to put in a long duration of hard work
